The Cat Nap Inn has been my cats boarding facility since October 2007 and I couldn't be happier. Nancy provides an environment that caters to each and every cat. One of my cats had been feral and after a long boarding stay (due to my business travel) became very comfortable with other cats. What a unexpected gift! \r I trust Nancy to monitor my cats' health and take the action needed (as we agreed) to maintain that health. She is extremely knowledgeable and is (in my opinion) a true Cat Whisperer.\r I recommend Nancy and the Cat Nap Inn highly!! \r Mary more

The only place we trust to board our cats 8/16/2013

My wife and I have boarded our two cats Max and Smurfs with Nancy multiple times whenever we go down to Florida to visit the kids. Most of the time we're pretty sure our kitties don't want to leave when we come back to get them! She knows all the ins and outs about our cats, and I can't imagine letting anyone else take care of our little babies. Not to mention they get plenty of playtime with all the other kitties... we're fans for life. more

My cat got diarrhea, a bad haircut, and came back filthy 7/19/2013

When I picked up my cat she was filthy, had diarrhea and was given an awful hair cut. The owner gave my cat too much wet food which caused the diarrhea. My cat has long fur that got dirty as a result of the diarrhea so the owner cut off her fur in random spots rather than washing her. My cat's hind feet and her back-end were caked with feces when I picked her up. \r \r The owner also charged me $10 for the wet food and $30 for fluids since she said my cat wasn't eating or drinking enough during her 13 day stay. She also didn't tell me that my cat still had diarrhea so after I got home my cat proceeded to have diarrhea on my bed! I wrote to the owner and asked her when the diarrhea would stop and she did not reply.\r \r I think the owner meant well but she did not do the best job that she could have. She was responsive to my first e-mail during my cats stay when I asked for an update. She also brushed my cat and removed the matted fur but she should have NEVER given her a bad haircut. more

The best cat hotel ever! 3/13/2011

It is not often that I feel moved to write a review about a business, but our experience with Cap Nap Inn and Nancy have changed all that. Finally we are able to feel good about leaving our cat behind when we have to travel because we know that she is happy and being taken great care of by Nancy. The Inn is a wonderful place for cats and Nancy is amazing! She has a true passion for taking care of cats and seems to love seeing our cat every time we bring her back. We love this place and also Nancy for doing such a fantastic job with our "loved one" - Sophie. We highly recommend Cat Nap Inn! more

I love the Cat Nap Inn 11/21/2010

Having to leave town on a regular basis, its really comforting to know that Nancy at the Cat Nap Inn will look after my 2 cats as if they were her own. I never worry about their well being whilst I am away as I know they are in the best hands. Nancy is such an authority on cat car and truly cares for each pet who stays with her. Nancy also drops off and picks up from my home whenever I need it, which after several hours of travel in the middle of winter is a godsend. Don't hesitate to send your cats here-its like home from home! more

Excellent care 7/12/2010

The Cat Nap Inn is the only place I'd consider boarding my cat. The homey atmosphere and careful companionship are wonderful. more

Radar and Misty love the place 6/9/2010

I learned about Nancy and Cat Nap Inn from a receptionist at my local veterinary office, sort of a toss off "try this place". Boy was that a great find! Nancy loves cats. My old Alexandra kitty was very comfortable during my frequent trips before she died. She always had a large multilevel condo with a window looking out on the birds in the back yard! My current two hairballs: Misty, a 4 1/2 year old I adopted FROM CNI and Radar, an 8 month old terrorist who loves the place because Nancy lets everyone run free (if they aren't too shy). He has a favorite play buddy, Ziggy; Radar misses him so much when he comes home that I may have to coax Nancy into letting me adopt him or, at least, bring him home for occasional sleep-overs. I'm a retired veterinarian and it's obvious to me that Nancy is a genuine cat lady (her own cats sit on the office desk, the furniture, the shelves with coats shining as if they've been cat show prepped), knows a lot about cat care, and never hesitates to g more

Long Term Life Saver 5/10/2010

We love Nancy and Cat Nap Inn! Due to an international move, our beloved kitty spent 3 months at the Cat Nap Inn. We checked in with Nancy weekly and even got to talk to our kitty over the phone. Nancy spent lots of one on one time making our very shy kitty feel at home. We highly recommend The Cat Nap Inn. more

Awesome home away from home 4/19/2010

My girls have never been taken care of so well. Nancy makes everything for the cats feel like home. I have one cat who is VERY anxious and she does great at the Cat Nap Inn. Pricing is more then fair. I highly recommend. more

Happy Kitten Mom... 1/31/2010

I would highly recommend the Cat Nap Inn! I found the business card at my vet's office and began bringing my cat there 3 years ago. Nancy is extremely knowledgeable about cats and truly loves what she does! Our new kitten Leo loves to be there, which makes us relax while we travel, knowing he is in great hands! Chances are you will also learn something new about your favorite feline when you come for pick up - kudos! more

Cat Nap Inn 1/31/2010

My kitty and I LOVE the CatNap Inn- She gets the best care and has such a good time there that she cries when I take her home! I believe that the owner takes very good care of the "guests"- they all seem to be having a fine time and my kitty gets her play time and socialization with other cats. My husband and I are thrilled that such a caring and professional place exits for our kitty's needs when we travel. more

Kitty Loves the Cat Nap Inn 1/30/2010

I find it strange that anyone could write a negative review for the Cat Nap Inn. My cat has been staying there for many years and enjoys the other cats there. Nancy has an incredible knowledge of cat behaviors and creates an environment that results in a peaceful, warm and cozy haven for your pet. I would highly recommend the Cat Nap Inn. more

Totally Happy 1/29/2010

My cat "Happy" very much enjoys staying here!\r This place is a "vacation" for him, not a "lockup".\r He had a weight problem until Nancy found a non-grain, non-gluten cat food for him. She loves cats and loves being in the "Cat Nap Inn" bussiness!\r I found out about the Cat Nap Inn from another great service - Shady Oak Vet. more

We have been boarding our 2 cats at the Cat Nap Inn for the last several years. It is comforting to know that they are in a safe and calm environment while we are away. Nancy provides soft music as well as clean condos for them, and activities to keep them busy. We have always felt confident that they will receive the best of care while we are away. When we pick up our cats, they are calm and healthy and have never had any problems after coming home. We have recommended Cat Nap Inn to many of our friends. Make sure and check out the website for more information. more

Happy Cats 1/29/2010

I 've been taking my cats to Cat Nap Inn for nine years and have always been happy with the care they received. I looked at several boarding facilities and Cat Nap's were the best I found. Nancy gives the cats individual attention and lets the cat decide whether it wants to join other cats in roaming or if it prefers solitude. There aren't too many facilities that offer "lap time" if the kitty wants it. I've recommended Cat Nap Inn to several friends and I certainly intend to continue bringing my cat there! more

Home Away from Home 1/29/2010

We've been boarding our kitty at Cap Nap Inn for the past 6 years. He loves going to kitty camp!! It is SO NICE to be worry-free while we are gone. Nancy provides a warm and safe "home away from home" for her boarders. Kitties are her specialty, and love.\r \r The majority of Nancy's clients are repeat boarders - testimony to the loving care kitties receive while they are there. I find the negative reviews hard to believe! more

Kittieslove Cat Nap Inn! 2/5/2009

Cat Nap Inn is a little Cape Cod house on Smithtown Road, which boards cats only. Each kitty gets his or her own kitty condo, or "sibling" cats can share. My kitties love it there! Nancy makes special meals for special diets. The kitties can play or lounge together in the common areas, if they get along well with others. (They all seem to get along great). Prices are very fair. I would recommend Cat Nap Inn to anyone! They will even pick up and deliver your kitties. It is a very warm and friendly place. Nancy lives in the bigger cape cod house next doors, so she is right there and on top of things. more
