I felt I was dressed really cute for an afternoon lunch...white t-shirt and a pair of peach shorts with gladiator sandals...but I felt totally underdressed! It was 12pm on a Thursday in June and many people there were in straight up suits! Other than my dress or lack thereof, the food was amazing and our server Stefan was great! I suggest the crab and lobster burger. more

Service was great, the food was awesome especially considering the price. I had the ribeye sandwich, it was a little fatty but it's a ribeye steak after all. The flavor of the steak combined with the caramelized onions and Havarti cheese was wonderful. My wife who very rarely eats any meat had the crab and lobster burger, although my sandwich was great I was jealous because it was that good. I wish there was a Capital Grille closer to us. more

So far my only 5 stars.\r What could I possible write about this icon restaurant that has not already been said? Instead I'll write what I ordered and tell you that everything was made to perfection and the service was superb :\r Awesome Lobster Bisque, the best I'd had in south Florida.\r Deliciously marbled bone in Delmonico, medium rare and truffle fries, extra crispy\r Lobster roll with a side of lobster mac and cheese.\r Cheesecake for desert more

My wife and I went to lunch and had a great time. It was my wife's birthday and they provided us with flowers, a card, wine, and choclate cake. They treated my wife like a queen. Really fantastic service! I highly recomment this for special occassions. more

This place has great #steaks in #fortlauderdale. I had a classic cut of a Delmonico steak seasoned and broiled, delicate porcini mushroom crust with a light drizzling of premium 12-year aged balsamic. Add a beautiful #wine and the addictive parmesan truffles fries and you are in heaven. Oh yes, you have to try their pineapple vodka signature drink. Great steak house. more

The tomato and mozzarella salad was DELICIOUS. The sirloin steak , Mac and cheese, and fresh breads were wonderful. One of the best meals I had in Ft. Lauderdale. It's worth the money compared to the other options in the area. Service was good, however it could have been a little better. The waiter seems a little preoccupied with two large tables. more

I have been to 5 or 6 of them. The one in Boca where I live, was not good and you have much better Steakplaces like NY Prime and Abe & Louie's. The one in Philly is excellent. The one in Lauderdale is fun. The ones in Boston are old and crummy. Favorite is Philly and get the filet mignon. Too bad not more consistent at all locations. more

The Capital Grille is the restaurant by which all others should be judged. It is simply the best in terms of quality, taste and service. \r Trust me, if there is a best of list and The Capital Grille is not listed, do not trust that list.\r Simply great. How this place gets even one bad review is somehat fishy. more

went there for dinner. although we did\r not have reservations they sat us right away.\r the service was fabulous but i must say the\r food was just average to me.. also, a man came over to our table to ask us if we had reservations. obviously a disgruntled client\r whose table we must have been given . very uncomfortable experience. more

The Capital Grille continues to provide the best...the finest...the most beautiful presentation of great food. Our Host, Stephen, greeted us with excited anticipation. He made our meal a memorable experience. Recommended a great New Zealand wine. Steakburger perfect.....Lobster Salad wonderful....Shrimp Citrus Salad, a nice light entree and the Salmon Salad with outstanding...cooked to perfection. Great place not to be missed. more

The experience I'm writing about was my first visit, and let me just say: I'm hooked! I was introduced to this place by a family friend. To start, we ordered the Lobster Bisque (which I've dreamed about ever since. Yes, it is that good.) My friend started with the Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil, and Balsamic Vinegar salad. Wow! For the entrees, I had the Lamb rib chops and my friend, the Delmonico steak. We ordered two side dishes to share, the Lobster Mac 'n Cheese and the Mashed Potatoes. The word "amazing" doesn't cover it. We ate, and ate, and ate and neither one of us was able to finish their entree nor sides. We were so full, we didn't even think about dessert (and that's a first!). Their wine list features over 300 wines from all over the world. Talk about variety...a wine connoisseur's dream. The service was as as wonderful as the food. The servers there are truly professionals. I am counting down the days until I can return. Hopefully it'll be soon. Pros: Excellent food and service Cons: $$$$ more
