The Burger Barn 's ice cream tops any ice cream I've had in the state! They offer 16 flavors, my favorite of which is Almond Joy. Its claim is that it does not offer low fat or low calorie ice cream choices, which explains why it is so delicious! In addition to ice cream, customers can order sandwiches, fries, and short order menu items. Highly recommended! more

Great Ice Cream! 7/30/2005

This is the best ice cream that I have every tasted! It is located in the scenic town of Elkader, Iowa. They offer great outdoor dining and a variety of sandwiches also. The Ice Cream is Chocolate Shop Ice Cream out of Wisconsin. I would recommend this to any ice cream lover. more
