To the typical restaurant frequenter, people prefer more variety. Everything in The Breakfast Klub is either Deep Fat Fried (chicken) or comes off the pig (pork chops, bacon, ham, sausage)...well, except the waffles. I've given them three well-spaced chances to not have lumpy grits...they failed each time. Good value if you're looking for cheap fried foods or pork. Waffles are good. Always crowded because it's small. Wouldn't mind going if they had a low-grease menu (and maybe Turkey alternatives for meats). My blood pressure went up writing this review...and I don't have blood pressure problems. BUT...people seem to love it...so please go and support this time-tested Black business...especially if you are hip, trendy and want to see people and be seen by other trendy people. Heck, you might like waffles, lumpy grits, pork portions and fried chicken first thing in the morning. HAPPY DINING!
Pros: Inexpensive, See & Be Seen Crowd, Artist Spotlights
Cons: Low Variety, Always a Line, Limited seating area
