So a coworker told me to check out The Boiler in Chino Hills a few weeks ago and like a fool I just let it go. She finally pulled me into the place and it is so wonderful I'm bringing my fiance back this week!
Now keep in mind that Mother's Day isn't the best day to go our reviewing places. Just about every restaurant and cafe are slammed with reservations and lines out the door. We barged into The Boiler and happened to land at the counter in front of Chef Ritter. The dude was wearing a NAMM baseball cap and being a musician I struck up a conversation. Ritter not only is the Chef and Proprietor of the establishment but he is an accomplished musician who dabbled in the industry for many years.
As we talked about music he prepared our meals in front of us in the steam boilers spread out behind the counter. How can something so simple taste so amazing? Well he explained how he worked in Vegas with the same kind of stations and perfected the recipes then brought it down for us here in California.
We had the chicken gumbo and shrimp pan roast. ABSOLUTELY amazing! In my opinion, they need to knock down a few walls and expand out. Make a reservation if you have time and get your self down to The Boiler in Chino Hills.
