I used to frequent this store when my mother lived in Orlando. I am in Atlanta and still call them for items.\r The prices are really great, especially since I have a Macaw and get gouged on toys for him elsewhere. You can see and touch toys and other items that you can only view in catalogs and don't know if they are what you really want or the size you need. The service is wonderful and they answer all your questions in a friendly manner. They seem to really care about all the birds in their care as well. The only thing they are lacking is having a web page with all their wonderful bird toys and varieties of foods. more

This is a place that will really fascinate and delight your kids, and yourself, too. They have all sorts of birds and the staff will let your kids feed them and even let a few perch on your finger. If you want birds and supplies, the prices are great, too. more

The Bird Store is a great store to shop for all your birds needs. They have really great prices, especially on their bird food and the cages. They have baby birds that have been hand fed, of course their selection's vary on what is available. If you are interested in hand feeding your own birds or one that you have purchased from them, they are willing to guide you thru the hand feeding process. The store does have a lot of merchandise- you can purchase bird food in bulk (25lb or 50lb) bags,the inventory varies on birds, but they have Finches all the way up to parrots. They carry bird toys that you usually do not see at the chain pet stores. The have a really great assortment of bird cages, you can save a little money by purchasing the cage not built. For an extra fee you can even have your cage delivered to your home, which is great for the cages that are bigger. Every now and then they even have used cages they sell for a fraction of the original cost. The employees are great more
