The Best Day Spa

I went to this spa for a facial and hot stone massage. My hubby was busy that day while we were in the area on vacation. I booked this spa and was plesantly suprised. The hot stone masage was a very centering experience. I felt my whole body and soul had been centered. It was a weird feeling. I had never had a stone massage before, but can't wait for the next. The facial was very nice as well. The staff was gracious, kind, and professional. I only wish that they would be more careful not to hit the table with their feet as they walk around the table. The little bumps would disturb my otherwise tranquil environment. However, many other spas have that issue too. I would go back again in a heart beat when I'm back in that area of the country. more

I was skeptical because of the review, but this was the BEST massage I have ever had. I went in with a neck that was killing me and walked out of there feeling great. This is the first time I used SpaFinder.com to locate a nearby spa massage experience. I easily located "The Best Day Spa" and booked my one hour massage that same day. I was immediately welcomed by a pleasant host, who gave me a quick tour of the spa before she showed me to my room. The environment was very quiet and relaxing with soothing music and lighting. My experienced massage therapist personalized my massage to meet my goals for that session and was very skilled in creating those results. I appreciated the little extras at the end of the treatment of warm towels on my face, back & feet for further relaxation and to remove the massage products. They have a shower and a free 20" sauna available with a full massage, that I didn't use. This experience exceeded my expectations! more

this spa offers a very tranquil and unique experience i have not felt in other Day Spa's The Spa Technicians are the best and the Thai and deep tissue treatment i received was if i was experiencing the Massage from the Homeland of Thailand by a qualified technician of 30 years. I would rate this a 5 star since i was revitalized and refreshed. My headache and sinus infection disappeared shortly after the treatment. more

If you want a good spa treatment, do not go to this spa. My husband and I received it as a recommendation from a hotel in Santa Rosa (and have since told them to not recommend it anymore). First of all, its in a strip mall, which totally destroys the spa experience. We paid for a couples package (massage, facial, and body scrub) and were first given brief tour (which we couldn't understand because the worker barely spoke English). Then we went in the sauna for 20 minutes, which really was the best part. After that, they informed us that we couldn't do the whole treatment together because they put other couples in their couples rooms (who weren't originally supposed to have a couple's treatment) while we were in the sauna. So they took my husband away for a 30 minute treatment while I started my massage (meaning that 30 minutes into my massage he came in and 30 minutes into his massage I left). My masseuse was amazing, but my husband's masseuse messed up his back so bad that I was giving him a back massage and digging around looking for pain killers at 3AM the next morning. Our treatments were consistently interrupted by people coming in and out of the room, moving around equipment, etc. The woman who did my facial left twice because she forgot something. Plus, the treatment room faced the parking lot, so we heard people walk by outside, car stereos, everything and it completely ruined the treatments. We left feeling unrelaxed and totally ripped off. We would have tried to negotiate a lower price based on the horrible service, but the people who ran the place barely spoke English so we knew it would get us no where so we regretfully paid $350 for the treatment and chalked it up as a loss. If you respect your body and well being at all, do not go to this spa. There are plenty of other good ones in the area that will give you a great experience.
