The Beach Club

Very beautiful and clean beaches. Secluded, yet with all the amenities one would want. Great for kids and family. We met several families and everyone was extremely friendly and neighborly. The condo we rented was very clean, spacious, and modern. Loved every minute of our stay here. more

WE HAVE VACATIONED AT THE BEACH CLUB FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS AND HAVE FOUND IT TO BE A WONDERFUL PLACE. I READ THE REVIEW ABOUT IT BEING A SNOBBISH PLACE AND WE DIDN'T FIND THAT TO BE TRUE AT ALL. WE COME FROM KENTUCKY AND WE FELT RIGHT AT HOME. WE ARE THERE DURING THE 4TH OF JULY WEEK AND HAD A GREAT TIME. THEY PROVIDE A GREAT OUTDOOR CONCERT ON THAT WEEKEND AND A WONDERFUL FIREWORKS DISPLAY. WE WILL BE BACK THERE THIS YEAR AND ARE LOOKING SO FORWARD TO IT. WE ARE COUNTING THE DAYS. MY WHOLE FAMILY, FIVE CHILDREN AND SPOUSES AND FIFTEEN GRANDCHILDREN ARE MAKING THE TRIP. BRENDA D. more

I recently attended a wedding here, and found the Beach Club to be quite...extravagant? This is a gated community that boasts three hotel/condo areas, eight swimming pools, a club house with a restaurant, salon, spa, indoor pool, and more. All three of the condo buildings are beach front, as well as the club house. There are also tennis courts, basketball courts, a few retail shops, a small grocery/deli, and more. Everything is within walking distance, but there is also plenty of parking available. This place is *definitely* upscale, therefore obviously, it's very snobby. All of the guests I came across were very pretentious, but the WORST thing is that it seemed to be bursting at the seams with their snooty/obnoxious children running around rampant. I don't know about you, but my ideal vacation spot doesn't include being trampled all over by spoiled pre-teens/teenagers. But that's just my two cents. Otherwise this place is nice. more
