The Baronette Renaissance Detroit-Novi Hotel

Very nice hotel, but I would not recommend having your Wedding here unless they did a major staff overhaul. It's a beautiful venue, food is good, but they were not able to properly handle a large event. more

I attended the launch party at the Hotel Baronette in Novi, Michigan recently, and I was very impressed with lovely remodeled property. What a difference since the Renaissance group took ownership. The party was a fantastic way for the new owners to invite members of the community to visit the renovated property. I absolutely enjoyed my recent stay at the Hotel Baronette. I made areservation for my anniversary. My wife and I enjoyed the statley design and decorative hotel. We reserved a romance package which included an overnight room, dinner for 2 in the wonderful No.VI chophouse and a breakfast buffet in the morning before we checked out. It was a great getaway for a couple with 2 young children. I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying here for a wedding and it was the worst hotel experience of my life. The air conditioning in the room was broken and they came in several times to ""fix"" it, but they never did anything. When it still wasn't fixed several hours later, they blamed us for it being hot in the room, saying we had used the shower even though we told the guy that we had been at the wedding reception for the last four hours. We asked for a different room and we finally talked him into moving us, but this took over an hour, so it was 2 a.m. by the time we were able to get to sleep. The staff was condescending and very rude. Please avoid staying here if you possibly can. Cons: rude staff, overpriced more
