I'm not out of the water yet, but Portia made the stereotypically frightening experience of Chapter 7 not so bad. I kept waiting for the worst part of filing to come, but it never did. I guess the only truly hard part is recovering from a seriously dented credit history. I highly recommend Portia Douglas. more

Grateful, Highly Recommended 1/29/2011

Highly Recommended Portia was our rock during this very difficult process. We began as a chapter 13 and then half way through we had to convert to a chapter 7 so we have worked with Portia for 3 years. She never once judged us and was always there for questions and sometimes just to listen. Even when she had to give us information was difficult for us to hear, you knew that she cared had looked at all the options. It was obvious during our court process that Portia is very well respected by the trustees and judges. I always felt confident that we were in good hands and that she had our best interest at heart.
