We went to the Fox recently to see "Escanaba in da Moonlight", a goofy play by Jeff Daniels. It was absolutely hilarious, and I (in general not being a hoity-toity, artsy-type person) was relieved to find that the atmosphere at the theatre was welcoming, non-threatening, and pleasantly middle-class. I felt very comfortable there- with the exception of my tooshie. (The seats could be a bit better) I am keeping my eye on their upcoming schedule and already plan to see "The Underpants" by Steve Martin and the classic "Death of a Salesman". This is a great starter theater if you have never gone to a play before!
