The Associates of the Stanford University Libraries also known as ASUL or just the Associates, is the friends of the library organization for the Stanford University Libraries. A volunteer-run organization that advocates for libraries, books, and the access to information. Membership is open to the general public, no Stanford Affiliation is required. ASUL sponsored a full-calendar of book-related events that are generally open to the public, along with a number of workshops an such. Its volunteers work in the libraries and at various book events.
