The Armstrong Company

I used Armstrong Relocation for moving and storage of my household goods and I have found them to be absolutely the worst moving company that I have ever done business with. Folks, I have moved 9 times throughout the United States over many years and 6 of those times were interstate moves with big-name companies - so I know inferior service when I get it. Armstrong Relocation is an agent for United Van Lines but you cannot blame United for what the agent does. There will always be good agents and bad ones and Armstrong has been the worst. I have found Armstrong to be deceptive and incompetent resulting in too many problems to list. Chances are you will encounter problems with any moving company - but what separates the good from bad is how they handle it. I recommend that you avoid this company at all costs. more

This was an unusual move for me, and the fact that it was small made it more challenging because you don't have the priority that the larger customers have. Timing was a big problem. However, I need to say that Ryan Bauer at Armstrong Relocation personally stepped in to remedy the problems that occurred because of timing. Communications was problematic during my move. It was a two-part move and my professional books were delivered to the wrong place. A subcontracted company had packed my things on one end, and Armstrong Relocation took care of the problems at the other end.I was in another state, and if I weren't proactive, the books would have ended up in the wrong place. I had huge orange tags with specific instructions as to where they were to be delivered. I have the highest marks for Ryan Bauer at Armstrong Relocation. He was there with me every step of the way until the shipment was supposed to arrive. When we got the word that another shipment bumped me from the schedule, Ryan stepped in and took over. I would recommend the company only because of Ryan. People make the difference, not the companies. more

Armstrong Relocation (Dallas) did three separate moves for us within the university. They did them in one day and these were short-distance moves. We chose Armstrong Relocation because of their competitive bid and they did the job for us back in August. Armstrong Relocation brought the appropriate equipment and people to handle the move.
