As long as you're not some high maintenance yuppie snob there's a lot to like about this place. Movies, good music, a pool table, and cheap drinks, especially at happy hour. What's not to love? Pros: Happy Hour, Pool Table, Movies Cons: no yuppies, it breaks my heart, oh well more

Gay Night Is Hoppin' 10/10/2002

A group of friends had a get-together here on a Sunday night and the crowd was really quite amazing. Stuffed full of attractive, friendly guys -- a refreshing change from the typical men you run. I did notice that some straight couples seemed a little put off (and in fact, some just decided not to come in) after they noticed the place was filled with gay boys. Let Me Use The JukeBox! 9/23/2002

The Abbey would be a great neighborhood bar - and was not too long ago - until they posted that horrible sign on the jukebox that reads ""no jukebox after 10:30pm"". The bartenders play music of their own choosing and they always choose crap. It's a good jukebox and the patrons should be allowed to choose the music they want to listen to. Williamsburg's best hangout 5/14/2002

Super friendly bartenders. Good happy-hour specials. Definitely the best hang-out/meet friends bar in Williamsburg. Another plus: Sundays are gay, and it's always gay-friendly. If you have no other agenda besides talking and drinking, this is the place. more
