The best Tiramisu 12/28/2009

From the soup to the dessert -- all of the food was exceptional. Within our part of seven, a number of different entrees were ordered and enjoyed by each diner. The veal piccata was tender with just the right amount of tart lemon and capers. The shrimp and tillapia dishes were fresh and well seasoned. It was so nice to have half orders on the menu, especially since all of 3 Olive's portions are more than ample. Pros: food ,atmoshphere and half orders more

Nice Time Out 11/29/2009

I recently went to the Three Olives for a nice night out with a few friends because I have heard so many positive comments about this establishment. And I have to say I was not disappointed. We had dinner in the main dining area where we found the waiter to be quite attentive and polite (very professional). For an appetizer we had the bruchetta which proved to be delicious. As a main dish, I had the cheese tortellini with vodka sauce and I have to say that I am hooked. I enjoyed every last bite. After dinner we enjoyed a few cocktails in the quaint lounge. The band they had preforming was upbeat and incredibly social. The music was great. It was a ska band but they performed every kind of music. All in all our group had a great time and would definately recommend this restaurant. We have been back three times since and found the same quality every time. Pros: Service, Food, and some of the best martinis Cons: nothing more

Very disappointed 11/15/2009

My friends and I were very excited to go to The 3 Olives after reviewing the good reviews. However, we were very disappointed. We were celebrating our friend's birthday & our server was extremely rude. One of my friends asked prior to ordering if it's possible to have separate checks and our server very bluntly told her she is a real pain the ___! The hostess had advised us to tell the server we were celebrating a birthday, when I did that our server's reply was "yeah..and so?!" I explained that the hostess advised us to inform her of this, she then replied "well you have to order something & pay for it!" She was very sarcastic the entire meal. The food was ok, nothing to rave about. Their gnocchi tasted like it came out of a package, the vodka sauce was bland & the bruchetta was very dry and bland as well. For you soft drink lovers...you will not get any free refills on soft drinks & when ordering a soft drink in their lounge they charge $5.00 each! I honestly don't recommend this place. Pros: Food was ok Cons: Very poor customer service/prices more

Exceptional Service, Food & Atmosphere! Check this place out! 7/25/2007

I have to say that I am a very picky person when it comes to restaurants. On a whim, some friends and I decided to drop by and try something new. I was leery, but that all changed the moment I walked in the door. The wonderful aroma coming from the kitchen hits you the moment you walk in and I thought maybe this place will be ok. Once seated, our server came over immediately and took our drink order. I had the very verry martini and I wasn?t disappointed! We had the calamari for the appetizer and it is the BEST I have ever had! I had the Tilapia and ended up cleaning my plate. Afterwards we headed into the lounge and enjoyed some more amazing cocktails and entertainment. One of the owners came over and talked with us for a bit and was very friendly and made us feel at home. We all will be coming back for more food and fun! Thank you for a fantastic evening! Pros: Fantastic martini menu, great food, service and entertainment! more

A nice Night out 7/24/2007

I don?t usually feel the need to write a review about a restaurant. However, the Three Olives is definitely something worth noting. I came in about a month ago with my boyfriend, we had come on the recommendation of a friend. As soon as we walked through the door I knew it would be a good night. We were greeted with a friendly smile by the hostess and shown to our seat. A few moments later our server arrived to make sure we were comfortable. I must say, with as much as I eat out, I have never received such friendly service. When it came time to order I had the chicken vesuvio while my boyfriend had the tortellini in vodka sauce. Both were amazing. I have had chicken vesuvio at other establishments before but this time the chicken was tender and covered in sauce and herbs. (And I?ll even admit to stealing bites of the boyfriends pasta) The vodka sauce is really something everyone should try, its addictive. So if you ever get the chance, my friendly recommendation is to check out the Three Olives. Pros: Jolly rancher martini, food, ambience more

My little secret 7/23/2007

I work in the restaurant business and it takes a lot to wow me but I have to say I was wowed. I heard about this restaurant from a friend and deceided to check it out. I went there on a thursday and had one of the best times I 've had in a long time. The server was prompt and and so friendly. I had the tortellini with their vodka sauce and it was one of the best i've ever had.. After dinner i ended up staying around for their dueling piano show and had such a great time. I will definitely be back for some more food and fun. more

DO NOT GO TO THREE OLIVES FOR LUNCH 7/22/2007

I went to lunch for a birthday with counterparts from work. The 3 of us waited over 45 minutes without getting our food, were offered no explanation and no apology. I hear the food is good however the service really stinks and is SLOW. You are better off going down the road to Gianotti's. more

So not cool - 4/12/2007

OMG.. On April 13th I was at 3 Olives - what a mistake for me and my friends. I was insulted, abused, and treated in the most horrible manner by a person sitting in a 'reserved' seat. When you walk in and see the resturant bar, and see a larger man sitting on the left side (near the host stand) at the corner. seat JUST GO SOME WHERE ELSE.. DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME HERE. I was in shock the whole time this man, in a very loud tone, insulted us, called us names, and was clearly out of line - I did order dinner at the bar, and canceled my order and left - because i could not take it anymore. I am so sorry for the people sitting around us that had to hear that. I am espically sorry if you had children, and had to explain any of this mans rude and abusive comments. Maybe you have to go into the other bar (where the band is) to have a good time here......I never got that far. Maybe this is the way the owner controls new comers.. SO NOT COOL Pros: I got to leave - and now realize that some people are just stupid. If you want beratement this is the place for you. Cons: the management does not realize that at some point you should tell your abusive bar flys to back off more

Not so good Italian 2/9/2007

The food was not good. My boyfriend had the strip steak made vesuvio style-the steak was chewy and not fresh. We had grilled calamari, which was okay. The eight finger cavatelli was starchy and the vodka cause was not good. We would go back for the bar though. It is very cute and they make a GREAT chocolate martini. Pros: The Chocolate Martini Cons: The Food more
