The Scene
Once famous only for the roller mill featured prominently in "Footloose," Lehi now boasts the ever-expanding Thanksgiving Point. When it first opened in 1996, the entire facility consisted of a restaurant, some animals and several hundred acres of land that used to be a dairy farm. Those vacant acres are now filled with several attractions that seem to be completely unrelated to each other. That's part of the charm. In fact, it's kind of fun to speculate what the newest addition will be.
The Appeal
Attractions include gardens, a golf course, gift shops, an animal park, restaurants and a dinosaur museum. Annual events include a summer concert series, school field trips, child day camps and gardening and cooking classes. Catch a casual lunch at the Garden Wall or The Deli or have dinner at the Hall of Fame Grill. Banquet facilities are also available.
