Thai-Sushi Express

We have been going to Thai-Sushi since they opened about 14 years ago. They have the best sushi around. The lobster roll is to die for. They also have the best ginger dressing I have ever tasted. The gyoza is also the best I've had. We used to go every single Friday, but since we moved further away, we can only get there once or twice a month. I wish they were closer to me! more

I've been here three times but won't be going back after my last experience. The first two times I had decent service although it was very overpriced for dinner. The last time I went for lunch I ordered the Pad Thai (which normally includes Shrimp & Chicken). I don't eat meat so I told the waitress to take out the chicken. I never requested any additional shrimp but next thing you know when my bill arrives I'm charged an extra $2 for shrimp because she told me "that's what it says on the menu" although shrimp is ordinarily included as part of the pad thai. She explained the chef "added more shrimp to my order". In no way did I ask for more shrimp; I simply requested that chicken be removed. I felt I had been unfairly overcharged and the manager did not even so much apologize when I tried to explain my situation. In fact, the waitress got flustered and ended up getting mad at me (she was a bit passive aggressive lol). The service during lunch I've concluded is pretty terrible (the servers are much nicer during dinnertime). Overall the Thai food is mediocre and way overpriced. The pad thai wasn't really good (I've had much better). I would say that their Japanese sushi rolls are good and much better than their Thai food although stay away from Boston Roll. There are tons of other Thai lunch specials at other Thai restaurants. I won't be patronizing this restaurant again. I prefer Thai Delight. The people who work there are so much nicer! more

I have been going there for years and every year the quality, customer service and cleaniness goes down as prices go up. Tonight was the last straw and my office, friends and family will be going around the corner. The menu's were sticky, the chicken over-cooked and the waitress was brash and rude. After getting her tip she had the nerve to tell us that we smelled of a horrible oder. She literally said ""the owners and employee's could not wait for us to leave!"" She went on an on until I stopped her insults. It was essential oil therapy I explained. My mother being treated for a terminal illness with(thyme,basil,oregano,peppermint) all normal scents. Really bad business and poor form. You lost a good 30 loyal customers plus bad publicity. It was the last straw more

EXTREMELY overpriced food, especially at dinner time. Nothing fantastic at all. Soup and spring rolls are cookie cutter basic, that you could find at any Asian restaurant fare. Dinner dishes are also very boring, bland, and tastes like you ordered it to-go from your favorite Chinese place in the area. Save your $. more

The sushi at this resturant is great! This fish is very fresh and the servings are generous! Nick, the owners, is very cool! more
