We went here expecting it to be good food, and were totally wrong, the food had no taste other than spicey, and not even good spicey, it seems like they make it hotter to take awa...

Wow, what a surprise, best salad rolls in Portland! The view on the water is superb! We love this place, menu is very flexible, you choose your meat or meatless dish with sauces. Presentation is out of this world and service is attentive! Decent wine prices! Will be regulars! Worth the trip on a sunny day to sit on the patio by the ""lake"". Pros: food, service, presentation/value Cons: , call ahead for parkin, g lot more

Good Food, Beatiful View 10/8/2002

My DH and I have been here several times with friends and have always enjoyed the food and the view. The Plate presentations are worth the trip alone, but then a taste, and you know the real treat is eating the food. The view of the lake at night is so romantic and the fresh flowers on the table really make for a nice expirience. The wait staff, on the other hand could use some help. Last time we were there, it wasn't even 9pm yet when we arrived and the waiter was pushing for us to hurry to make a decision, so he could put the order in before a certin time. A little pricey. Pros: Good tasting food, great presentaion, Beautiful view @ nite Cons: Little pricey, wait staff needs help more

Overpriced... 8/3/2002

We went here expecting it to be good food, and were totally wrong, the food had no taste other than spicey, and not even good spicey, it seems like they make it hotter to take away from the fact that its tasteless..We were not happy with the service or the quality of food..We thought that cause it is in a great location, that it could only be good..We will never go again..over priced food and the service sucked also... more

Superb 7/22/2002

The service and attention are top notch. The decor is beautiful and fresh flowers a plus. I take many friends who always love it. The food is very fresh and beautifully presented. I can't praise this restaurant enough. more
