Thai Palace Restaurant

I have visited this restaurant several times over the past two years and have finally given up this year because of the price. The price is acceptable except that the quantity of food served seems to decrease everytime I visit. Towards the end, I would have to order up to two extra bowls of rice, since each bowl is tiny. Thai Palace Restaurant is a great place to take a date (or a spouse) but not so great for young children. Exotic atmosphere. It takes a some time for your order to get served...easy to forgive when the food is this yummy. HINT: Read the menu before you are seated, and ask the owner (always there) for recommendations. My only complaint is that there is not a discounted take-out menu...it's hard to shell out that $7.50 for my favorite: PAAD THAI. I admit I have stopped there as many times for take-out as I have dined in. I would eat here far more often if the prices were a little more affordable. The menu has everything to accomodate the meat eaters to the veggie eaters. All items are to die for. The service deserves 20% or more. This is one of the best around town- check it out! more
