Thai House has great food! And, the male server is awesome. Sometimes, you receive a different server that is not as good. Even with the mediocre server, this place still has the best food in town, and far superior service from most places. more

They close at 9:00 on Sundays. 8:40pm, 4 tables occupied in the dining room. My wife and I walk in, the hostess asks if we are dine-in or take-out, we told her dine-in and she promptly responded ""sorry, the kitchen has already closed for the night"". Suggestion: change the store hours sign; replace ""close at 9:00"" with ""after 8:00pm you are not so much a patron that keeps this place afloat but more of just a hassle and bother to the closing staff"". more

The restaurant is buried in the small strip of Mount Vernon's downtown so it's almost like a town secret. This place is fantabulous! When you walk in you enter a different world; not what I expected at all. The ambience is very, very inviting, cultured, and clean. Traditional Thai music plays at a nice level while you dine and the lighting is perfect. The waitress was very helpful in helping me decide what to order and I was asked throughout my meal how I was doing, so I didn't feel forgotten. There are so many choices on the menu that I will definitely return. The best part of the menu is that there are many vegetarian dishes to choose from and what isn't listed as veggie can be made veggie just for you.
