Consistently Great 5/28/2010

I've eaten at many Thai restaurants across the US and some internationally, and this one is my favorite. It's a small family run place and the food is always freshly prepared. As good as you can get anywhere at any price, and the prices are so reasonable you almost feel like telling them they can charge more.....but please don't! I'll drive many miles out of my way to eat at the Thai Cafe! more

Great frest Thai food! 12/11/2007

This place has great service and great food. Very authentic. Also remember that in some Thai dishes such as panang curry fish sauce is used as a flavoring. It tastes very good and is not overbearing Ex: Panang Curry Ingredients: 2 pounds meat (beef, chicken or pork) 1 can coconut milk 8 oz panang curry paste 2 tablespoons fish sauce 2 tablespoons kafir lime leaves (cut into shreds) 1/2 cup basil leaves 2 tablespoons sugar This place is great, no worries! more

Excellent place!! 12/14/2006

Compared to other Thai, as well as Chinese Restaurants, the Thai Cafe's food is prepared with very fresh ingredients, and the food is not drowned in the sauce. We go there regularly and have never had a problem with the food tasting "fishy" - although the one time I had their fish, it was the closest to tasting like authentic Cantonese style prepared fish. The chef will cook each dish as you tell them - all in all, this is one of the best Asian Restaurants around - especially for the price! more

Panang Curry 11/30/2006

I have always had good food from here. There 5.95 lunch specials are great. I hate bamboo so they leave it out for me. My fave is the panang curry ! I would try it again they might have been having a bad day. I ate there every week for 2 years and never had a fishy experience. more

Not very good 3/30/2006

We recently moved here from the Detroit area and they have so many more diverse restaurants. When we moved here we were so excited to see a thai restaurant. We were very dissappointed. My husbands food tasted fishy and he ordered chicken. It even reaked of fish. We won't be going back. more
