Thai Basil is the best Thai restaurant in Central NJ. I've eatten at several of the thai restaurants and keep coming back to Thai Basil. It's a great ambiance. My friends usually get together here 1-2X month. The portions are great for sharing. They have some unique soft shell crab, duck, and lamb selections. Some of my friends don't eat spicy food so we tell them to make the dishes not spicy so everyone can eat it. The curry puffs, dumplings, spring rolls, and satay are RIDICULUOUSLY GOOD!!! HOLLA to Thai Basil's staff for me if you're there. more

Excellent Thai Food 10/25/2010

We stopped by Thai Basil because there was a 1/2 hour wait at TGI Fridays. The restaurant was a nice, casual dining environment. The servers were friendly. The Thai Ice Tea and Satay were some of the best I've experienced. I've visited several Thai restaurants within the Central NJ area. The Mango Curry, Chicken Rama, and Tilapa dishes were wonderful and unique. Overall, it's a great place to dine and bring friends and family. more

Great pace, great food. 12/5/2009

It was my 1st visit and it seems popular with a few guests that showed up. Very friendly host/hostess (Sue & Ken) I believe their names were. A must visit again, and again and again :-) Pros: Awesome desserts Cons: hhmmmm more

First place to deliver real spicy food 12/5/2007

For a little place tucked away in a mall this place was surprising. I was expecting ordinary but the crumbled lamb I ordered extra spicy was perfect. Plan to go back and highly recommend for those who like a little kick to their This. Pros: Closest to athentic you'll find for the value more
