Good: The food and the decor. Other: This place has been around forever, and it has ALWAYS been good! The food is great and cheap, and the decor is really eclectic and interesting. I think people are intimidated, but they shouldn't be, because the staff is always nice and the place is always clean. I moved to CT but used to live close to the Texas Taco, but I venture back every now and again to have a bite and a fun experience!. more

This place is badass. I haven't been here in years but I am dying to go back. She used to have a pet monkey in the backyard....wonder if it's still alive. more

A little bit frightening 3/29/2006

I always wanted to try the Texas Taco in Patterson. Driving by, I was drawn in by the ecclectic look and the brightly colored painted bus in the driveway. Once inside however i was greatly disappointed. I guess I thought it would be a Tex, Mex restaurant when in fact they only serve tacos. The prices were cheap enough, but the staff was a little frightening- dressed in ecclectic gypsy garb and a little bit beyond what I was expecting. A bit different than expected. more
