Frustrated in Vegas 2/20/2010

If you want coffee in your room in the morning, do not book this hotel. They no longer have room service which is absurd but even more irritating is the lack of coffee maker in the room. I guess I should have brought my own... Also - I realize this is a "local hotel" but the fact that they don't offer a shuttle from the airport is obnoxious. It's a $50 cab ride. I recommend renting a car if you don't have your own, otherwise it's impossible to get around. The staff has been courteous but unapologetic. Pros: Cheap & Clean Cons: Far From Strip, no Shuttle, no Room Service more

Excellent local casino 11/21/2006

Loved this hotel. Off the strip, so not as much traffic. Kids had a great time at the Kid zone. Good overall. Buffet has huge amount of options. Pros: Off strip, kid zone Cons: Off strip if you are interested in that. more

Great value 11/16/2003

We stayed at a preferred room, they are large (2 queens), well equipped (coffee maker, iron, fridge) and really quiet. We had a great view of the strip and downtown. The casino is very large and has a good selection of video poker and slot machines in all denominations, single, double deck and shoe blackjack, craps, let it ride, all the games we like and with pretty good rules and limits. Their food is reasonably priced without loosing its quality. Pros: Good value, Great food, Great casino Cons: Far from the strip more

Texas Station's graveyard special is the best breakfast deal in town.Steak,eggs,hash browns & french toast...platter sized ham steak,eggs,hash browns & toast...or just bacon/sausage,eggs,hash browns & toast...lots of food - little price!!!!! Pros: large portions, very inexpensive, good value more

Good place to take your family. Buffet and service is great, there is a movie theater, and child care if you want some time alone all within the casino. Cons: Good Food & Service, Child care available, Movie theater more
