My family loves this place. The downside is that it is always busy and there's always a wait. We counter this by eating late and not even considering the dinner hour.
My very picky son eats the bread here with abandon. We usually just get him a side of something for his dinner entrée because he's going to mostly eat bread for dinner. My vegetarian daughter loves that she can get mac and cheese while the rest of the family enjoys steak. My favorite, always, is the BBQ. I love the sauce. And I have to have a sweet potato as a side--because really it's dessert.
The wait staff is usually outstanding. Only one time was the service merely good and I think our waiter was just having an off night. When we want to splurge or have a big celebratory loud meal, we head to Texas Roadhouse.
