The minute you walk in the door you can grab a bag of peanuts right from a big barrel. They have a nice showcase of meats so you can see the cut you may want. The side salad I had was like no other. It came on an ice cold plate and even had eggs in it !!! This is what we had : Oven Roasted Chicken $ 8.99 ~ Very Good and Juicy Chicken Critters $ 5.99 ~ A little spicy but the kids loved them. Tater Skins $ 5.99 with Cheddar Cheese,Bacon and Sour Cream ~ Very Good Ft Worth Ribeye 12 oz. $ 13.99 was good Dallas Fillet $ 15 99 was Very Good ~ I liked this steak the best !!! Highest kids meal was only $4.59 and the highest Ranger meal for young teens was $ 6.99 Free refills (Serve Coke Products and other beverages) You will get a lot for your money and have a great time at ......... The Texas Road House is the place if you want an exciting and fun dinning experience !!! http://www.texasroadhouse.com/ For our Girls Scouts last time together after 7 years we wanted to do something special and fun so........ We hit the road and found this great restaurant !!! There is so much to this place that I don't know where to begin !!! The minute you walk in the door you know it will be fun !!! The service was great !!! We had a very nice lady that made us feel welcome and took great care of us. ( We were a group of eight ) The girls loved the free jukebox that had some great country music on it. ( Al Jackson, Willie Nelson. Toby Keith and my favorite Garth Brooks just to name a few !!! ) You may see the waiters and waitresses line dancing right in front of you or you may get to see someone sit on the saddle and they are singing to them !!! ( A birthday surprise, I think ) The decor is western of course but there are so many interesting things to look at the time files while waiting for your food !!! Oh, and the food ............ This steak place is one of my coworker’s favorite places to go, and we go there when there is a birthday in our group. They like to have the celebration honoring the person by having the person sit in a saddle while the staff sings to you. It’s rather hilarious and gets noisy since a lot of people come to the restaurant for this very thing. The steaks are to die for; the place is clean with the exception of the peanut shells on the ground (on purpose). Also they are willing to give separate checks and split the appetizers and whatnot so you don’t have to worry about needing cash when going in a large group! more
