I wanted to take a minute and let you know how happy I am with not only my Nautic Star, but just as pleased with the guys at Texas Marine. When I was in the process of buying my Nautic Star, you called me out of the blue just to make sure everything was going good. You mentioned something about ""Inspecting what Texas Marine Expects..."" I like that, and you also said if I ever had an issue that required a little extra help, or if I just wanted to ""Brag on Texas Marine and it's employees"", that you would love to hear that also. This is to brag. From the first visit where I met Jerry Spiller, who turned out to be the store manager, and through the entire process, it was a great experience! I normally do not have time in my life to do things like this, but Texas Marine deserves credit. I find it rare nowadays for ""Above and Beyond"" what is necessary, but Texas Marine, Jerry Spiller, and every person I have dealt with has been great. The bottom line, Texas Marine does a great job! I was worried about buying a used boat. I didn't think I would be able to find a place that would be pleasant and that I could trust. I only had $10,000 to spend and figured that woldnot get me much. The used boat guys at Texas Marine were great to work with. They had a clean, polished facility and hte used boat manager was wonderful to work with. I ended up buying a pretty old boat that was perfect for my family. After using it twice, some of my electronics went out. Turned out some of the wiring had corroded. I took it back to the texas marine service shop. they told me that the problem was not their responsibility and I would have to pay for the new wiring. After talking to the service manager and the used boat manager and explaining the situation, they still said it was not their responsibility, but they wanted to help me out, so they ended up paying for most of the service. I am saving up right now for new boat, and when I get the money, I am going back there. more

I picked up my boat on Friday. Was told the boat had a complete inspection by their mechanics. I took it on the water on Saturday and discovered the water intake grate was broken. Called the dealer and my salesman told me there was nothing they were willing to do. Didn't even offer to help me find and order the part. They obviously did not do a very good inspection on the boat. If they had, they would have discovered the broken grate. Very disappointed in Texas Marine. They took my money and now don't care. Cons: horrible service, you are on your own more
