I was referred to this group by a primary care physical, Kim Allen. Granted, it was the referral that made no sense, and Dr. Allen treated my concerns about fatigue and pain as dismissively and incompetently as Texas Cancer (she couldn't even explain to Texas Cancer or me why she was sending me there). However, the doctor at Texas Oncology was worse. She attributed everything to depression, without having the expertise to do so, shrugged her shoulders, said vaguely that if I really wanted to, maybe I should see a rheumatologist, then forgot to give the referral. Once I looked at it I realized there was no point going to a doctor that a bad doctor recommended (again). Luckily I found Dr. Scott Zashin, who had the expertise to run the right tests and check for the right symptoms to diagnose fibromyalgia. It's ok when a doctor isn't sure what's wrong, but haven't we gotten past the point of blaming the patient?
Pros: Great self-promoting materials
Cons: Care
