Give money up front to this business at your peril. 3/13/2014

Give money up front to this business at your peril. In December 2011, I gave money up front to John Nash doing business as Texas Bullion Exchange, to purchase a quantity of 2012 Silver Eagle coins. I was told the coins would be delivered to me during the second or third week of January 2012. Not having received any coins by the middle of March 2012, I demanded my money back. More than 2 years have now passed and John Nash has failed to deliver any coins and has only returned 21% of the money I gave him. Give money up front to this business at your peril. more

I did a few good deals with John Nash a gold dealer in Houston TX. Currently he is at Texas Bullion Exchange on Jones Rd. In June 2010 I loaned John Nash some money. I was supposed to get it back in a few months, it took 3 frustrating years to get it back. I have only received a tiny fraction of what was promised as consideration for this loan. Do some searches and you will see this is not an isolated incident. I would not recommend doing business with this person. more

CON ARTIST AND A THIEF! ! !\r AVOID THIS PLACE! more

Rebuttal to previous post 11/7/2011

I am a long time customer of Texas Bullion Exchange and just happened to be there when this fellow and his wife came into the store.\r To my understanding, this man called the store on a Sunday (when they were closed) and the owner was kind enough to talk to this person about his merchandise. In the gold and silver market prices are constantly changing and the condition of the stuff is extremely important. It appeared to me that the coins he showed the owner were not the amounts or condition as stated on Sunday to the owner. Also, this beligerent individual came in several days after the Sunday conversation meaning that the price and needs had changed. These kind of so-called ""customers"" do much harm to a business when they have a personal agenda.\r Don't believe all the trash that people write to destroy others!!!!\r This is how it really went down. more

Only take your scrap gold and silver. 10/13/2011

Only take your scrap gold and silver because anything else you will lose money. My experience was selling my UNC Silver Eagles and I received a fair price. I figured I would be able to sell my proofs for a fair price too so I didn't double check what the current values were. Boy was that a mistake. I know... I know... it's my own fault but I thought I was dealing with an honest person. Turns out I lost over $800 dollars because of trusting this man. Sell your coins on eBay or sell them via Craigieslist but don't and I repeat don't think you'll get a fair deal at this place. more

WARNING!!! - SCAM ARTIST 8/23/2011

WARNING!! - This guy is a scam artist. My wife and I called the day before we went in and were told that he would offer us spot prices on our silver eagles (Was a Sunday and were told to come in the next day). The next day we drive all the way over there (Me telling one of my clients I would be back in an hour and a half). He told us we would get spot when we got there and even showed us on the calculator how we would be receiving $1310. He walks in the back with our silver and then comes out with a piece of paper to sign that says we would be selling our silver for $1260. We told him there was a mistake and he says to my face there's no mistake after telling me not 5 minutes before he wrote out the paperwork and also telling me on the phone the day before he was giving us spot. I've never treated any client of mine like this and was just in awe that a business owner would treat anyone like this. Tore up the piece of paper, asked for our coins back (after making sure they were all there), and walked out of the store in shock wondering what had just happened. And I wonder, if he tried to rip us off for $50, how many other people has he successfully ripped off, and for how much more? more
