Having bought and sold a number of properties, I have had my fair share of experiences with inspectors. Doyle, with Texcode, was by far the best I've worked with. Doyle is a thorough inspector and gives you a detailed, easy to read, and comprehensive report. He points out not just issues needing to be repaired but also gives more information on how critical the issues are and also indicates opportunities for improvements. He recently inspected a house for my husband and me. Then an issue arose with the electrical system the day after closing, before we had even moved in! Not knowing where to start to try to figure out what was going on, we called him first, and he was quick to respond and help troubleshoot the problem. I was really impressed that he spent so much time and was so helpful such a long time after his role as an inspector for the property was already done. I would have recommended his service just based on the quality of the inspection and report, and with his customer service going above and beyond, I highly recommend his company. Pros: Detailed and thorough report, fantastic customer service Cons: Slightly more expensive than other inspectors - but worth it! more
