Best

When you are looking for an authentic Italian meal, Terramia is the place to go in the North End. Exceptional service, exceptional Italian food.

Worst

I can't believe people writing negative stuff on here about another restraunt (Italian Express) that shows little class on your part. I would suggest you try it before you write ...

Terramia before and now 7/30/2005

I am (TERRAMIA) restaurant client from about 5 years, I like the PASTA. Terramia was (in my opinion) the best Italian restaurant in the NORTH END but not now. Last week I went with my wife and her parents. I ordered as usual my favorite pasta (RAVIOLINI) the sauce was like water too loose and my wife's gniocci was too dry without sauce in. I am sorry but this is what happened to me. I will never come back to eat in my (TERRAMIA). Pros: bad food more

Splendid Meal! 6/20/2005

I was responsible for choosing the restaurant for our large group of well-traveled professionals. Thank heavens, Terramia didn't let me down! The skilled wait staff and nice atmosphere complemented the fine meal. Our group occupied half the seating late on a Thursday evening (call for reservations), but the kitchen and the wait staff handled everything beautifully. Delicious food, good wine list. Everyone raved and I looked very smart! Highly recommend. Order the lobster fritters. Pros: delicious, intimate, creative menu more

Terramia is simply the best Italian restaurant 6/15/2005

What a find! I had read good reviews of Terramia, so on Saturday my partner and I thought we'd try it for ourselves. We were not disappointed. The food was wonderful, and so authentic - this is a little bit of Italy in Boston! The staff were delightful and the service just right. We will certainly be returning, many times I hope Pros: food, service, location more

Just like Italy 5/11/2005

While I was in Italy not too long ago, a waiter suggested we try Terramia when we get back to Boston. I couldn't believe that there could be a restaurant that was just as good(or even better) as the ones we dined at in Italy. The food was delicious! We started with the Caprese salad and I never had mozzarella so good, not even in Italy! As a middle course, we had the spaghetti which was so delicious! I had the Halibut and my friend had the Veal Chop. Both entrees were huge and the flavors were incredible! The service was very attentive and friendly. Although the restaurant is very small, the hostess seems to do a great job seating customers! I can't believe I had to go to Italy to find this wonderful Italian restaurant right here in Boston! more

North End's Best 10/11/2004

This was trip 5 or 6 to Terramia and it is always a treat. A cozy homey room, the food is fresh and fine. The wine list is extensive and varied. The mista salad is large and delicious. The lobster fritters are deep fried and tasty with a balsamic glaze and fried onions. My husband loved his veal chop served over risotto. I had the spaghetti (soooo fresh) topped with a delectable cherry tomato sauce and fresh parm. Terramia is a perfect dining experience. Pros: fresh food, wine list, ambiance more

Fabulous food, lousy service 8/24/2003

Food was excellent. Service was horrible. Had waiter who thought he was the world's answer to the service industry. Basically ignored entire time. Had to ask bus boy for help. Poor service almost overshadowed food, but was fabulous couldn't be tarnished by arrogant server. Pros: extraordianry food Cons: poor service, inattentive more

Kiss the Chef! 1/2/2003

I went here because a great friend of mine told me he wanted to kiss the chef after his meal... He was right! It is small, so go in wouldn't go with a party bigger than four people... but the food is wonderful. Pros: Great Food, Good Service, Romantic Cons: Small Spaces, Gets a little loud more
