Homespun Italian Pizza & Pasta, Great Bread Basket! 8/27/2008

I've been to Theresa's a ton of times since I live in the area and I love the place! The pizzas are gourmet but not fussy (and a good value) and the pasta & specials are good. Let me put it this way...I've never eaten anything here that I haven't enjoyed. Because it's a smaller restaurant, the atmosphere is cozy and there are enough choices on the wine/beer list (and food menu) to please most people, which is why I always suggest it when we go out with other couples - and the prices are reasonable. Then again, I don't mind having a glass of wine at the bar while we wait for a table since it's first come first serve. I agree with the previous poster who said the cuisine isn't innovative, but that's not what Teresa's sets out to do. It's a cute little homestyle Italian cafe where you settle in with a glass of chianti and some faithful ""favorites"" like margarita pizza, pasta specials, etc. I've also never had anything but good service (although at times a little slow...but that's expected on a weekend evening) and am surprised to hear otherwise. Pros: Atmosphere, Gourmet Pizza Cons: No Reservations more

After seeing a really bad review for this restaurant, I felt compelled to say something. I've eaten at Teresa's a number of times, and while it's not groundbreaking cuisine, it's certainly nice Italian food. I have gone in groups from 2 to 10 and had no problems with service, although there is often a wait for a table. They also serve tasty dipping spices with the bread and olive oil. I was a Princeton student for 4 years, so I know the area really well - basically, if I wanted an amazing dining experience, I'd go somewhere else, but for good food and a nice, comfortable atmosphere I'd check out Teresa's. more

Do NOT WASTE your TIME and MONEY 9/27/2004

I've been there multiple times. Each time I have waited at least half an hour, once an hour and fifteen minutes to be seated. Each time, I got average Italian food, and an arrogant and rude staff. Once there was mutual agreement at our table not to tip the waiter, because despite our request, he did not sit us at a better table that was available. And when we asked questions about the menu, he got arrogant and said, ""Do you have any more?"" There are much better restaurants in Princeton that give you your time and money's worth. Pros: Nice decoration Cons: , Average food, Arrogant, rude staff more
