Dependable Medical Care 10/20/2008

My elderly parents have been under the care of the doctors of the Oakland Medical Group for over 30 years. They are now 92 and 94 years of age. Dr. Saunders is wonderful with my mom, very understanding and thorough in exams. Dr. Terashima is timely with reports and my dad's third doctor from the group (the other two have retired from practice). The office staff is very busy at times and may seem abrupt, but they work hard and take care of you once you're in the office under their care. more

I definitely agree with the above review. The woman who answers the phone is VERY rude and fast and doesn't care about the patients. There is one doctor there who is pretty good, however: Dr. Perry. All the other doctors are terrible, inclduing the nurse practitioner. She is completely inept and missed something very obvious once when I went in. The bay area is full of good doctors and I think you could get better treatment somewhere else. Pros: Dr. Perry is great! Cons: everyone else there is terrible - other doctors, NP, and office staff! more

The worst Customer service ever in medical field. 9/13/2007

I called in Oakland Medical Group just to ask general information, I was recommended by my dentist, The lady who answerd the phone is not friendly at all. There are plenty of people out there who can answer the phone politly and patient. She doesn't even respond when asked how are you doing this afternoon ? Twice and again!! Not only that I never got the information i was hoping to get. I will go personally and see what it's like and get back here for more update. more
