This is a family owned and operated business and the quality of the food is excellent. There is no hype just good food. Mr. Masa's three boys work behind the Shushi bar and at tables, and his wife is quick to add some little extra to the order if she takes a shine to you.
Their misu soup is varied and very good clearly using different styles of fermented soy to get all sorts of flavors. The tempura lunch specials are very reasonable, AND OF COURSE I LOVE THE SHUSHI !
