My friend and I were at the Tender Trap in Chicago Heights on 4-30/5-1 2008 when a bouncer (apparently by the name of ALEX) Kicked us both out because my friend was wearing his hat backwards (yes, this was the one and only offense my friend commited) . Instead of keeping the peace like a bouncer should, he opted attempt to start an actual fight by suggesting that he and my friend ""take it outside"". When he insisted that we leave, we complied; but he yelled at us and provoked us every step of the way. It was my friend's Sister's Birthday, and I believe that only HER intervention prevented the fight that bouncer ALEX was hoping for. My friend and I will never go to the Tender Trap again as long as ALEX (the bouncer who is more interested in fighting than in helping) works there. BTW: I believe ALEX is his name, because I heard a bartender call him that in an attempt to calm him down. We never actually heard his name from the ""man"" himself (though ""boy"" would be more appropriate based on his actions).
Pros: Good booze
Cons: poor help
