Nice Place for the Family 3/17/2006

The Temple Terrace Public Library is really a comfortable place to find a good book to read. The staff is very friendly and helpful and everything is always spotless. If you arent in the mood to look for a book then you can always use the internet service for free too. This library also offers diffrent events like storytimes for children and they even have tax preparers during income tax time. This is truely a valuable resource to the community. more

Temple Terrace library is not the greatest. They have internet connection but it is always a hassle to use their computers since they have a half hour limit. Most of the time you have to wait a really long time to use the computers. I dont like that when your time is up, the librarians scream out your name to tell you. Also, they dont really have a big selection of books. The childrens area is nice though. more

Small neighborhood library 9/29/2005

From the outside, this library looks like it will be large and have a correspondingly large collection. I was disappointed to find that it really does not. There are not very many books at all, but it does have a proportionately large children's area. There are probably more children's books than those directed at adult readers. There are also a wide variety of videos for children to rent, but these are almost exclusively VHS movies. I have not tried interlibrary loan or any other extensive measures to find what I am looking for, but have rather chosen to search out something I really want in some of the used book stores near the university or on the internet. more
