The apartments are just as shown in the pictures and are some of the nicest in the city. The building is also very secure with everything as described.\r
\r
However the management is absolutely unbearable with a ""well there's nothing you can do to us so get out of my face"" type of attitude once you sign the lease.\r
\r
I've had concentrated rust water stain my vehicle in their underground parking and the first words out of their mouth is ""we aren't liable""...real respectful toward a tenant. I expected a little responsibility since the water was from their building which was leaking from construction.\r
\r
The main elevator which is the only way a handicapped person could access the garage (and their vehicle) is out of service. Its been out of service for 3+ weeks and they still aren't sure when it'll be operational again. Any remaining elevators to other floors (not garage accessible) are hogged by the construction crews working on new apartments.\r
\r
The fire alarm is being ""tested"" over and over again for hours at a time every week due to construction on new apartments. Their response: its got to be done, deal with it.\r
\r
The list can continue with broken railings, haphazardly positioned ladders in fire stairwells (because you aren't going to be able to use the elevators). And the noise of construction equipment echoing through out the building.\r
\r
So basically if your handicapped, have trouble with noise, or if you feel a business should be honest and responsible, this is NOT the place for you.\r
\r
There are plenty of newer, nicer apartments currently available in downtown Rochester, anything can be better than this...
