The cleanest, most inexpensive kosher place in the Bay Area!!! And they cook my favoraite food as well! 4/5/2008

I have been there many times in the past, few owners have changed and the new owners (Young couple) have turned this place around!!!\r The place is spotless (Which for me is very important), the selection is huge and the meat and poultry is extremely lean and the food that they cook over there is delicious. \r I love the service and the personal care one receive at the store or when I call to place an order, I just love it.\r If you keep kosher like me there aren't many good places to go to and have most of the items you are looking for, all I can say is thanks Tel Aviv kosher market for serving the Jewish community in the bay area!!!\r I stopped by last week and found out that they have a daily menu as well as special menu for Passover, I might not have to cook that much Yeh!!!! Here it is in case you are interested:\r Grilled chicken - in the oven\r Rotisserie chicken\r Chicken with olives - Cooked\r Schnitzel - Pan fried chicken breast \r Lamb chops - Slow cooked with prunes and onions\r Mussaka - Stuffed eggplant with ground beef or chicken\r Pastels - Potato pancakes filled with ground beef & onion\r Stuffed cabbage and Stuffed bell-pepper\r Gefilte fish - Ground fish patties\r Salmon - Slow cooked with special herbs, vegetables and garlic in tomato\r sauce (Moroccan style)\r White fish fillet - Pan fried\r Matzo ball - Vegetables, garbanzo beans and chicken with different herbs\r Grilled potatoes - with home spices and garlic\r Babaganush - Roasted eggplant with garlic mayonnaise and herbs\r Moroccan Matbuha - Tomatoes, bell peppers and garlic slow cooked in tomato sauce and herbs\r Coleslaw - Cabbage & carrot salad with mayonnaise\r Israeli salad - Tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, and parsley mixed with olive oil & spices\r Potato salad - Herbs, potatoes, carrots, pickles, and eggs cut to small cubes in mayo\r Schug - spicy sauce\r Red cabbage - Shredded into small pieces mixed with mayonnaise and sugar.\r Persian cucumber & onion salad\r Carrot salad\r Mixed vegetables (pickled in brine) Pros: Service, Clean place, Clean Meat, can place phone orders and they deliver Cons: Parking might be an issue more

Getting to know you 7/11/2006

I had a bad first experience here, and I ranted about it in this space. I am writing to say I went back a couple of times and everything has vastly improved. I am now getting good service, good vibes, and it is clear they are actually in business. I stand corrected. Go there! more
