Tejas closed in December 2009. The best restaurant ever! rent increase was the reason, they have not reopened anywhere as of August 2010.

I was suprised when I was received by the rudest service staff in the city, right in the heart of Yuptown. Maybe it's because I wasn't wearing a Hugo Boss suit, or even Banana Re...

A Little Too Trendy 10/30/2002

One quick note: in the more information section of the editorial review it says very casual. This is not true. I would have felt out of place in jeans. In general it was a pleasant experience. The food was good, but as is common in hip restaurants, it was very easy to get a very small portion. Everything seemed just a little too pricey for what was delivered. Our service was just fine, so I'm not sure if it has improved since other reviewers, or we just had a good server. Whats' the fuss 9/19/2002

The food was good, but not great. Especially considering the price. I would equate the quality of the food for the price to a sports bar quality. The wait staff good and knew their products. I would reccommend that at least in Edina, go to the movie across the street and if you want a great desert, skip the meal (or eat else where) and go straight to the dessert.
