Ted's Montana Grill

I went in with my roommate and ordered 2 burgers to go. One for me, and one for my hubby. My roommate and I had a drink while we waited. Not too long of a wait. We sat at the bar so, we could actually see the cooks and they were moving pretty fast considering it was almost closing time. The bartender seemed kinda quiet but, it was close to closing time and he just appeared to be tired from a long shift. He was polite, in any case. I ordered the Teds Bacon Cheeseburger for me, Medium-rare. And, the Green and Hot Burger for my hubby..well done. Both, Bison. With regular fries for both. We left and drove home...about a 10-15 min drive. The food was cooked exactly to order! And Seasoned Just right! If you've ever had a Bison burger, or cooked one, it's a little milder than regular beef and EASY to over or under-season. Both of our were Delicious! Plus, our fries were too and held their crisp until we made it home! We will FOR SURE BE BACK for those Burgers! I blinked, and my husband's whole burger was gone and we are picky about burgers! more

I've always had a good experience here. Love the convenient location to downtown Decatur. My favorite thing to order is the wedge salad... soooooo good. Wait staff has always been prompt and courteous. Highly recommended. Pros: amazing wedge salad more

The service was great. I think every single server plus the manager stopped by my table either to check on me or bring me something. Unfortunately the food wasn't quite as good. Don't get me wrong, the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't as great as people had told me it was. I ordered America's Cup, which is a bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions and mushrooms. I decided to be adventurous and get it with bison instead of beef. There were two small problems with this sandwich. First of all, the bacon was completely limp. Secondly, the bison really wasn't very flavorful. It tasted like it wasn't seasoned at all. On the other hand, the onions and mushrooms were terrific, and I don't even really like onions!
