Tech Tune Auto Service

I brought my full size van to Tech Tune because the speedometer, cruise control, and overdrive quit working. Also my ABS and emergency brake light were constantly on. They called me and said they had found a bad ABS sensor and the van would be done shortly. Later I received another call and was told there was a broken wire somewhere between the sensor on the differential and computer. This was going to take more time than expected and wanted to know how much time I would approve for them to spend troubleshooting the problem. I agreed for an additional 2 hours to be spent at their shop rate. Approximately an hour later I received a call telling me they found the problem quicker than expected and my vehicle was ready. I grew up working on cars and can fix about anything that breaks myself, but I don't always have the time and tools necessary to do the job the "right" way. I know what most repair jobs involve, so I appreciate it when mechanics don't presume that I don't have a clue. These folks know what they are doing, their customer service and communication is great and they were very responsive to my input. Being fairly new to the area, I appreciate having found a place that does business that way. more

This is the only place I or my family will ever go to have our cars serviced or repaired! We learned the difference between mechanics and technicians the hard way, before we came to Tech Tune. I have never felt "taken advantage" of there. They are friendly and honest. They let me know what my car needs, and I trust them. They also let me know when my car will need something in the future so I can plan ahead and save for it. They don't talk down to me about the repairs needed.
