You get the real thing, great customer service, quality sylist in a warm, inviting setting. I've been going to Tease for years and just recently started having Jackie do my hair. I know I'm a handful, but she always fits me in (even though I ALWAYS wait until the last minute, right before a trip) and she makes the appointment fun. PLUS, if you happen to be there late, you might be greeted by her incredibly cute little dog. Conveniently located, plenty of free parking, I highly recommend! more

I heart Jackie! Tease salon rocks! 12/6/2008

This salon is so nice! I've been going there for several years, and what keeps me coming back is Jackie!!! She knows exactly what she's doing and always makes my hair look fantastic, no matter what we decide on. She also is willing to try anything I want to do, but will always make my ideas wayyyyyyyy better because she is a colour master....she always finds the absolute perfect shade for me. Pros: Ambience, Parking, Knowledgeable staff, Expert Colourists, Expert Hair Extension Artists, Great Location more

Best hair salon in LA!! 12/6/2008

I cannot say enough good things about Tease Hair Studio. I have been going to Jackie for more than 3 years and she is AMAZING. She is a color genius and gives great haircuts!! It is conveniently located in Studio City and they have a free parking lot. Everyone is so nice at the salon and make you feel very comfortable-not like some of the snotty super expensive salons in Beverly Hills. I even use Jackie on the network tv show that I work on and our cast of reality stars look like movie stars after she is done with them. Pros: Free parking more

BETTER THAN TOP NYC SALONS 12/6/2008

After 5 years of trying out (with no success) the ""best"" and priciest salons in NYC to get a very specific color in my hair, I randomly walked into Tease Hair Studio 3 years ago (then called Twist) with no expectations. Jackie nailed the color on the first try for a fraction of the price of what I was accustomed to paying and gave me the most flattering haircut in years. Since then, we have been playing with the cut and color (just for fun) and literally everything she has done I have loved, and I am a very picky client! Jackie has not only been a godsend for my hair but she has also become a dear friend. Thank you Tease!!! more

Great cut, fast service 8/7/2008

Being a guy, going to a salon is the last thing I want to do. But at Tease, Jackie gave me a great new haircut! Now the ladies love me! After Jackie changed me from shaggy to shagalicious, my girlfriend finally said ""Yes!"" Thanks Jackie! more

Best Hair Studio in the Valley 8/7/2008

After moving here from Dallas, I was looking for a great hair salon. I was traveling back and forth to Dallas to get my hair done because I had not found anyone here that I liked. Then I found Jackie! My hair has not looked better and more healty until I started going to see her, which I might add is every 4-5 weeks for touch ups. Everyone is so friendly, the best part...... free parking. Ask for Jackie, she is so sweet and has become not only the person who does my hair, but a great friend as well. I couldn't have found a better place!!!!! Pros: parking, friendly staff more

Better than Beverly Hills 8/7/2008

I have been to some of the top stylists and salons in LA. Working in the Entertainment Industry, you always have to look your best and I have found Tease Hair Salon in Studio City to be the best place to achieve the look I want. I have been going to Jackie off and on for 5 years. Their was a time, I thought that I should try a few of the stylists that do some of the celebrities that I work with, but I soon realized that the cost and the outcome weren't worth it. Jackie, listens and knows me as a person and will be honest on what will work and what won't and that's why I love her. She's talented, keeps up with the trends but knows what works individually for each person. I highly recommend her and Tease Salon. I promise you won't be let down. Their is no ego, just talent! more

Sheila and Heidi are the best reasons to visit Tease 10/3/2007

There are several good things about Tease Hair Studio - good service, good location and parking and in the heart of Sudio City. However, the very best things about Tease are Sheila and Heidi. Sheila has been cutting, coloring and styling my hair for four years. She listens to my preferences and gives good advice about what will look good and what won't. She knows what best suits your face and life style. Heidi is the facialist but does more than facials - Heidi is a full service skin care professional and does everything from facials, waxing and more. You can't go wrong visiting Tease Salon and asking for Sheila for your hair care and for Heidi for your skin care needs. They will both treat you like a good friend. more

The greatest thing about Tease is Sheila! 9/23/2007

Tease is a great hair salon, but the very best thing about Tease is Sheila Harshaw. She is a very professional and excellent hairdresser. I have been going to her for approximately three years and have found her work to always be consistently great. She does my color and styling. Sheila gives such good hair cuts that I can handle my hair myself between visits, which has never happened before. Besides, she is just a nice and hip person to visit with. more

Great Customer Service and Great Results! 9/16/2007

After the stylist I had been going to for 7 years moved out of state, I found myself trying to find someone else I can trust with my unique style requests. My friend told me I should see Cindy at Tease Hair Studio, and now I know where I will be going from now on. The ambience is great; the colors, knowledge and cuts are fantastic. more

It is nice to be able to go to a hair salon where you can find service, quality and atmosphere at the same time. From the moment that you enter Tease you feel pampered. The ladies are all very friendly and professional. Jackie is not only a wonderful stylist but a strong business women who knows how to create a professional salon quality of work with a friendly, relax and trendy ambiance for her clients. Best Salon in the VALLEY! 8/26/2007

When I first moved to Los Angeles in January 2006, I did not research any salons and went to the closest salon to my apartment...what a mistake! They turned my highlighted hair into dry brown tresses that fell out by the handfuls when I showered! Fearful, but necessary, I searched for another salon to correct my hair and thankfully stumpled upon Jackie at ""Twist"" now ""Tease Hair Studios"". Jackie slowly introduced highlights back into my hair as well as instructed me on how to care for my hair at home. Now, over a year and a half later, my hair is not only a healthy, beautiful highlighted blonde, but has also grown over six inches in length...something that hasn't happened in years! I know I am getting the best hair care at ""Tease"" but I also know when I step into the studio, I am stepping into my friend's home...it's that special!!! Pros: Excellent service and price Cons: none! more

best highlights 8/24/2007

I love this salon. Everyone is so friendly and it really has a great vibe. When you go there ask for Marlene. She is the best colorist and does amazing blondes. She matches your color with your skin tone and i am always happy with the results. I have been going to Marlene for 4 years and will never let any other colorist touch my hair!! Tease Hair Salon - very satisfied client! 8/23/2007

From the moment I walked through the door of this salon, I was greeted with professionalism in both service and quality. The ladies at Tease are extremely talented in their art and the love they have for their work shows in the results!! They use fashion forward colors and styling products. There is always a relaxed, friendly vibe in the salon. As a industry person...I am quite picky when it comes to hair salons...but this Studio City gem is worth a visit. No L.A ""attitude"" here. I will definitely return! more

Can't Imagine Going Anywhere Else... 8/23/2007

After moving to Los Angeles, I jumped around to different salons but couldn?t find the right fit. I finally found Jackie, and have been going to her for the last five years. Not only is she a great stylist, but she is a great person with a wonderful sense of humor. I always feel welcomed at the salon, and everyone is very personable. I can?t image going anywhere else? I have been a client of Jacki's for years, and to this day no one can do my hair like her. Why I even tried other places you ask? If either she was out of time or out of town, and I had to go somewhere else for an event. I not only would recommend this Salon (Obviously Jacki), but often have, and they are all regulars there now. Cons: NONE more

As Subtle or Hott as You Wanna Be! 10/20/2006

One of my girlfriends got her hair cut and colored here about a month back. I had dinner with her recently and she recommended the place. So I checked it out here on Citysearch and read all these rave reviews about Dani. I took a leap and made an appointment with her and OH MY GOD. I look hott (with two Ts!!). I didn't need an extreme makeover or anything, but my hair was long, heavy and its naturally very dark brown. Dani kicked it up with well-placed caramel highlights (I'm still a brunette! Yay!) and made time to give me a great *unscheduled* trim with new long bangs. I love her -- she's #1 in LA and I've been here a long time, ladies. Twist rocks!! Pros: Multi-talented creatives working the place -- whatever you need they can do it! Cons: None. Even great coffee (thanks, reception!) more

Great Color and Cut 7/14/2006

This is a great salon with a friendly helpful staff. Dani, my hair stylist is the best. She took my dull colored hair and made it vibrant. I have curly wavy hair which is difficult to style and can look boring. Dani gave me great haircut which is easy to manage and modern looking. I get compliments all the time on the color and cut. I thought I was ""picky"" but Dani is worse than I am. I am not allowed to leave the shop until she is happy with my hair! I have never had to wait, she is always on time, something I find very important. more
