Several friends told me to visit TeaGswender. I wondered into the Gold Coast shop to have a look. There was more than one empty thermos outside the shop purporting to have some new fangled tea to try. I wasn't able to try any. The staff, while friendly, acted somewhat aloof or too busy and seemed disinterested in introducing the various teas to curious newcomers like myself. The staff was supposedly making more tea for customers to try, but I never saw this. The store was mostly clean, EXCEPT FOR THE BATHROOM!, but the displays seemed to be in some disarray as customers pick up various items for sale and and no one reorganizes them. Overall, I smelled some nice smelling tea, but the store seemed poorly managed and I don't think I'd go back anytime soon. Seems like a passing fad to me - I'd rather have an espresso in a cafe where you can sit down and enjoy it.
