I bought my pup from tea cup puppies. I love him, such an amazing dog. I could never regret him, however, I hate that I helped support such a horrible industry(yes I found proof tea cups buy from commercial breeders aka puppy mills) I had known about puppy mills but didn't realize they are USDA licensed and the dogs are AKC/ACA registered. We call them puppy mills but on paper they are commercial breeders. So pet stores deceive is by how they word things. They tell uS they buy from breeders and they do just that they're commercial breeders. They tell us they only but from USDA licensed breeders and yes puppy mills are. Truth is, no reputable breeder would ever sell to a pet store, it's even stated in breeders club contracts. 98% of pet stores pups come from puppy mills and this place is no different. I have learned so much about all this the past 2 years and even decided to find out exactly where my pup came from. In the ACA application I received from the store, it has the breeders name. The first 2 letters of the registration number indicate state they came from. Mine said ""KS"" so he came from Kansas. Looking up breeders in Kansas with the name provided I found the commercial kennel he came from and it is a puppy mill(saw vid footage and USDA reports about conditions). Many of you can do the same if you want to find out(you can even have a free puppy report done to track where your dog came from). Luckily, he only had kennel cough. However, down the line he has two genetic issues. He has a luxating patella in his knee and was more of a problem when he was younger. In the future, I will never buy from a store again and only adopt. Buying a dog we just support puppy mills and not to mention 6 million dogs are euthanized every year in a shelter. Sure they're cute but puppy mills will continue to stay in business as long as we buy dogs. We hate they exist but we contribute to them and keep them in business. more

I found the perfect teacup chihuahua!!! I named him Peppy! Because he is so playful and energetic. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a healthy puppy to take home and make a new family member. It is a nice clean shop that has first rate puppy food and toys and other supplies. Mark the owner is very helpful in answering any questions. I told my friend about it. She is thinking of getting a Yorkie. These puppies come from breeders and NOT PUPPY MILLS. You we not be wasting your time or be disappointed when you come here. It gets the highest rating from me. more

This place is the worst place ever!! I say so because when me and my mother went there to get my puppy groomed the staff was very rude and lied to us. He told us that our puppy had flea's when it did not have because the previous day we took our puupy to the vet and they said that he did not have flea's. Not only that he locked us out and we could not get in for about 45 minutes. Later on when i finally got hold of him i told him to forget about the grooming i wanted my puppy back. When i got my puppy he was terrified and he was shaking( Poor puppy). I was sorry for him. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!!!! more

I bought my puppies from here more than 3 months ago. Mark, the owner, was very helpful and offered sincere suggestions and advice about choosing and caring for the pups. It was a tough choice because there were so many adorable pups to choose from, but we made the right choice and are the proud owners of two Shih Poohs - Teddi and Twilight. The pups were in excellent health when we brought them home and are developing nicely. The pups were brought in from breeders, have their papers and are fully guaranteed. I highly recommend this store for all your puppy shopping needs! more

I bought my puppy, Simon, there almost two years ago and have never been happier. The staff is always helpful and Mark ,the owner, has always been very accomodating. The best part is that all puppies are from breeders, have papers, and come fully guarenteed, including there first vet visit. I go there for all my puppy's needs including his grooming which always comes out perfect. I definately recomend this placed to anyone looking to get a small breed, that has been well taken care of and needs a home. more

The best place in town to buy anything and everything for your scaly, feathery, or furry bundle of joy! A knowledgeable and caring staff, I recommend you ask about alternative or healthier foods if your looking to change your pets diet from a not so well balanced kibble, they care about your pet. more

I contacted by phone and booked an appointment for the next day. They are friendly, professional and truly cares about your dog! They where upfront about pricing they where on time and got right to work. My JRT is hyper and moves around a lot, but he was able to give her a clean, smooth cut and she came back looking perfect after 45 minutes. more

Teacup Pup is one of the greatest pet shop with the cutest little puppies I ever been to!! Staff is very helpful and tell the truth about takeing care of the puppies on what to do. Very reliable, upfront and truely kind to there customers! I give Teacup Pup two thumbs up =) more

I got our adorable puppy from this store. I love him with all my heart and would buy here again only because I couldn't live without him. But, I think this store is just morally and ethically horrible. I didn' know much before I bought our pupp--about puppy mills v. breeders etc but just knew that puppy mills were cruel. Anyway, we were guarenteed that all puppies were from breeders. ON the door there is even a sign guarenteeing it--as soon as we got the paperwork and our baby, we came home to google and find that this was not just a puppymill but a well-known puppy mill under investigation for animal cruelty. Next, within one hour of coming home (more like ten minutes) the poor pup pooped blood. He had worms we found out later. Next, the gook on his nose and the non-stop sneezing that I asked the store owner about to which he replied ""it's allergies"" turned out to be not just a cold but Kennel Cough. Needless to say, the next three weeks we nursed him back to health. He was on 3 different antibiotics and a nebulizer. He is fine now and the most wonderful puppy ever but these innocent pupps should be taken to a safe place away from an owner that obviously only cares about money and not taking care of these amazing animals Pros: Cute Puppies Cons: Sick and not taken care of, Puppy Mills more

I bought my little chihuahua Paco from this fine store and it has been a pleasure being affiliated with this corporation. he is a very healthy 4month old puppy and you cannot always expect to receive a healthy puppy considering the conditions in which some pet shops are. But Teacup Pup is a very reliable, clean and professional shop where the truth is given to you about there puppies. the staff is very forthcoming and nice. all my questions were answered thoroughly when asked and everything was provided for me. i highly reccomend this store because everything is on point. me and my wife been in the market for a while looking for a hypoallergenic dog because of my allergy,the staff were really helpful with us till we picked our bichon poo puppy ,i liked that dog so much who was so healthy and funny too,they were concerned more about their puppy and sanitize our hands before checking any puppy and that what i really liked and let me decide to buy the puppy from them ,other stores and shelters that we visit didn't care that much, more

I am looking for an addition to our family so we stopped in this puppy store. We walked in and within 5 minutes i noticed a cute havanese that was getting ready to make poopie. So he goes into action and what comes out is diahreah looking poop. It was yellow and very liquidy and just as he finished pooping out came blood!!!! I was horrified. I quickly ran over to clerk at the counter and told him what I witnessed. He mumbled that it was a virus - coccidiosis and ordered one of the employees to run to the back and get a blue pill. I turned around and walked out of that store. more

i decide to write a review for this pet shop after i promised them to do so, i got a cute french bulldog from this store, they let me bring my chihuahua to see if she will get along or not with the frenchie ,they introduce them in a playing pen and ,acually they get along very well Pros: Great staff more

after shopping for almost a year for a shih tzu puppy ...finally i get from this pet shop my buddy cosmo, what i do really like is the puppies looks really healthy than many pet shops i visit before, and i load them with tones of questions and i found answers to my questons like the source of this puppy (they deal directly w/ breeders and provide you w/ the breeder info) , health guarantee , feeding , bathing and grooming .....etc. Pros: great healthy dogs comes w/ papers and health warranty Cons: lower level hard to be seen more

i purchased my puppy there, healthy sturdy , microchiped and carry health care warranty with a great vet ..that we really like , they provide all the dog papers with the breeder information , i never had a dog before but my GF does...but they teach us and told us everything from the scratch about potty training and feeding, really nice people there ,highly recommended Pros: great ,friendly and reliable people to deal with Cons: at lower level ,need more advertisment more
