There is a reason you see the ads for Teaching Temps on every teacher opening website. BEWARE! After 2 weeks of being told they could get me employment, they sent me a letter saying they found other people to fill their openings. WTF?? I called 3 times, only to be lied to by their staffing coordinator, Julia. I got the runaround for a week before I got a letter in the mail. Very disappointing, but I'm glad this happened after 2 of my teacher friends explained that Teaching Temps has a bad rap among school districts in the Twin Cities area. Apparently, they try to make money by charging schools a ""finder's fee"" of thousands of dollars. And, after signing their contract, you are tied to them for 6 months, so good luck getting that job unless your hiring school is going to pay the finders fee!
