I've tried many different boba places in SF, LA, and San Diego, so I consider myself to be somewhat of a "boba connoisseur". Tea Station is the best hands down. The quality of their tea (always brewed, never powdered) to the quality of their boba (tapioca) are unmatched. What sets this place apart is the taste and consistency of their tapioca. They're lightly sweetened, and soft and chewy. They're never old tasting (yes I do know what old boba tastes like) either.
Their food isn't like "wow" but I do like it enough to return for the meals. I think the pork stew rice or pork chop rice are the best two dishes there. It's a good quick, inexpensive meal. They also have shaved ice and other various food/drink/dessert items.
