Dr. Varkey has a terrific bedside manner that makes you feel comfortable and at ease- I recently had a pre-cancerous scare and she took the time to explain everything fully to me and seemed genuinely concerned for my comfort and peace of mind. more

Dr. Varkey is the best physician I have ever had. She is extremely intelligent, caring, and capable. Her bedside manner is wonderful and takes time to explain options and procedures in detail. BUT best of all, she had the knowledge and experience to enable me to have my son vaginally. There were complications and many other doctors would have just jumped to a C-section. She tried something and my son was born without incident. more

I went to my first and needless to say LAST visit with Dr. Varkey. While I found her to be indeed an intelligent individual (so was Ted Kaczynski) she has the bed side manner of a SHARK. While her office has all the bells and whistles to make your eyes gleam there is a human element missing from Dr. Varkey and her staff .(fish rots at the head) This left me with a creepy feeling that I was entering into an assembly line at the baby factory. As for personality- she has a condescending know it all attitude and a remote response (could be a tick) eye roll when you ask a question that she thinks is "elementary" or a waste of her time. I do recommend Dr Varkey for anyone who wants to be pushed around and told what kind of patient you are going to be. If you like feeling like a head of cattle and don't mind the strange manly arrogance while naked draped in paper she may be your cup of tea. more

She really is perfect. She was recommend to me by my Primary Care Physician's receptionist...everybody one is part of my HMO so I was not expecting very much. She is absolutely wonderful. She takes time to talk to you and to settle any concerns or fears. I highly recommend her. You won't find anyone better... more

As a relatively new patient of Dr. Varkey's, I can say she is by far the best physician I have ever had. She is a strong communicator, always finds time in her busy schedule to talk and answer questions, and has a great demeanor. more
