Taylor Drugs is one of the those great old drug stores, still locally owned, with a soda fountain. What is not to love? But seriously, I had a really great experience with them while attending college. I had been diagnosed with some weird, obscure eye problem and need medication immediately, but the college facility did not stock it. So late in the evening after the store had closed the college doctor called the owner of the pharmacy and he opened the store and drove the medication to my residence hall so that I could have it, so kind. Good people, with a nice store and pumpkin ice cream in the fall.
