I have been to many gun shops and the one i like the best is T&V. Pat is great to deal with and has a positive attitude for the buisness he runs. He and his staff are very knowledgable on a variety of firearms in which he sells. I have been using him alot in the past two years and always had a feeling like i was welcome in his store. even if he was busy he will always acknowledge his customers and many by there first name. This year i sent him a christmas card to show my appreciation and commitment to him and his buisness as my regular gun dealer. and too my surprise he called me up to say how appreciative he was. This is just one example of how he goes above and beyond to help out his customers. I have been to some competitors of T&V and i was there 45 mins without being aknowleged once. If you want a place to buy guns and ammo. Taylor and Vadney is the place to go to. He is always has ammo in stock, including .22lr for those who seek the hard to find ammo. i never stopped by and him be out of anything. If he doesnt have something in stock he will gladly order it plus a few more so that he does have them in stock for others that may want them. all you need to do is talk to pat and he will treat you well. When you shop at Taylor and Vadney, your more than a customer. Your family. I reccomend this shop to anyone who is in the market for a new firearm. more

I bought a Remington 597 with a nice scope . Pat and staff were very knowledgeable. they took there time to make your whole shopping experience very pleasurable. Pat made sure you were happy with your purchase. I highly recommend Taylor and Vadney for your next used or new gun purchase. more

Pat called me and said he would do what it takes to make me happy. I tried to remove the first post but can't so here is a positive post I am going to go back and Pat said he will just give me the gun. He called me twice each time he gets nice and not so nice . when i pointed this out to him . He promptly apologized He said If i remove the first review he would give me the gun. If you go there just be informed that the guns may be used also do research on the price of the gun. If you buy a used gun from anywhere know you are with out a warranty. So ask Pat for some repair info he will give you 30 days . which is very fair. 30 days is more than enough time to check out the gun. The old store in Albany My family bought a lot of clothes and shoes there. Always got good service. I know Pat got robbed a few times there . So he moved to this location. I think this may be why he thinks I was a crook. Maybe it was all misunderstanding from both of us. I feel If a business Is willing to make right a dispute . Then they got my loyalty back. Just get all of your questions answered. before you complete your purchase . I know Pat will take good care of you . more

the man said the gun was brand new when it came out of the box( what is that supposed to mean) came with no paper work or magazine Pat said I guess I will have to eat $20 magazine to make this sale. at check out Pat says what if i give you 2 boxes of ammo and you cover the magazine . I said alright But he did not take the price of the 2 boxes of ammo of the bill I still paid for them along with the gun and ammo. I called Remington and the they said the gun was made in 2006 I called Pat he said no one ever said it was new. and I was making stuff up. called scammer in so many words I told him i found his word insulting and highly offensive he wouldn't take gun back or give me any money back accused me of going on Internet and trying to jew him down on price after i bought the gun. i will see if i can take them to small claims court. do not go there they are tricksters and over priced. more
