Coloring With Tish 12/24/11 12/26/2011

She always does a great job that gives you definition against my skin tones. Courtney, Jennifer and Amy have all cut and colored my hair and do a wonderful Job. I used to go to Mario for years in Crystal Lake. My teenage son has had a great experience here and likes Jennifer who relates well with him! Beautiful Aveda Salon!!!! more

Insteaed of cancelling my appointment you... 12/26/2011

Eventhough my regular consultant was not able to work on the day of my scheduduled appointment, I really appreciate the effort it took, on the Friday evening before Christmas, to maintain my appointment. Heather did a great job on my color and cut. She took the time needed to understand my hairstyle and the quirkiness of my hair. more

Facial 12/24/2011

My esthetician was great, however there was a lot of noise outside of the room throughout my facial. I received an hour long facial and a brown wax. When I was finished, I went to the front desk where they apologized for the noise. She then proceeded to tell me my total was $75. At this point I'm thinking, that was nice of them to not charge me for the brow wax due to the noise and then she goes, "Oh wait, you had a brow wax too, your total is $96." A little unhappy that they couldn't at LEAST comp me the brow wax for all the noise that was going on.. it was pretty awful. Other than that, my service was great. more

My experience 12/21/2011

Service was fantastic. However, I was quoted one price over the phone but my bill was $20 more. I should have been consulted before the service if it was going to be that much more. It was very disconcerting to be told that my cut and color would be $90 and then I was charged $110. more

I love going to the salon, but don't ever get there often enough. even though I don't, Trish is always so sweet to me and does a great job with my hair! I always recommend her and the salon to people who are looking around. more

Courtney is amazing! I have lived in Chicagoland since 2002 and have been all over trying to find someone who could actually do what I wanted to have done to my hair (specifically highlights)...I had given up. Finally, I was lucky enough to find Courtney. Courtney listened to what I wanted and truly takes time to continually deliever excellent service, she is always professional and truly skilled at what she does. more

I would like to choose a time and date that works for me not have one provided. I suggest you have a calendar of dates, people and times available to choose from. Maybe it will work next time I need a haircut or color. more

Took Forever 12/12/2011

My appt. was at 11:45 for a haircut and crown only highlight. I did not leave until 2:15pm. My hair was still wet and was not styled as nice as I expected. Total cost over the phone was $75, but after I went to the counter to pay they informed me it was $90. cut and highlights are nice...service and time was awful. more

Went in for a hair style and highlight. A bit pricey, but comparable with other full service salons. immediate friendly greeting and offer of specialty coffee or beverage continuing with deep conditioning, highlight, cut and style. Leave salon feeling primped and ready for the day! more

My experience is always great at Taylor Stevens Salon Spa. They always have new, fresh hair ideas and make you feel like an individual. It is a little pricey, but comparable to other salons like it. They don't let you leave until your hair is styled the way you want it. I would definitely recommend this salon to others! more
